One region · three states
From the Gulf surf to 13,000-foot summits — keep scrolling to fly the South Plains.

Gulf Coast
Surf rods, bay boats, and redfish. Troops trade the trail for salt air on the Texas coast.

Enchanted Rock & Hill Country
Pink granite at sunrise. Hill Country campouts and backpacking beneath the big dome.

Museum of the American G.I.
Once a year, 1,000+ Trailmen converge on College Station for a weekend of camping, activities, shooting sports, and fun.

Our region's high adventure summer camp at Lakeview Camp in Waxahachie — a week of patrols, skills, and campfires.

Brazos & Colorado Rivers
Canoe overnights below Possum Kingdom and along the Colorado — paddle all day, camp on a sandbar, repeat.

Texas Shooting Sports
Trap shotgun, rifle events for every age group, pistol, and archery — shooting sports are what this region does best.

Wichita Mountains
Ancient granite peaks, free-roaming bison, and mountain-bike country rising straight off the plains of southwest Oklahoma.

Illinois River
Clear water over flint rock — Oklahoma's signature float through the Ozark foothills near Tahlequah.

NRA Whittington Center
33,000 acres and 25 ranges at America's premier shooting facility near Raton — every discipline we shoot, in one place, inside our region.

Sangre de Cristo High Country
Wheeler Peak, the Pecos Wilderness, alpine lakes, and 400 miles of trail — this is where the region goes to backpack the roof of New Mexico.
